London-headquartered SuperAwesome has inked an exclusive deal with Turner International that will see the kids digital marketing platform power kid-safe ads across Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito websites in the UK.

The pact will also see Turner leverage kid-safe ad server AwesomeAds, which is fully compliant with data privacy rules protecting kids online in both the US (COPPA) and EU (GDPR).

Used by hundreds of leading brands and agencies including Hasbro, Spin Master, Disney, Lego and Warner Bros., SuperAwesome’s curated network of kids mobile and desktop content currently reaches roughly 300 million kids worldwide per month.

Turner’s move to tap SuperAwesome signals on ongoing shift towards compliant digital ad content that’s managed platforms designed for kids under 13.

For its part, SuperAwesome recently launched Kidfluencer YouTube Network, which connects brands with a collection of pre-approved, family-centric video content. That platform also enables brands to use PopJam, the social content mobile platform acquired by SuperAwesome last September. Two months later, SuperAwesome and online games portal Poki joined forces to bring COPPA-compliant advertising, brand integration and sponsored games to Poki’s 2.3 million users in the US.
