The series is now the net’s number-one animated show, which launched on May 2 with close to two million total viewers.
The Loud House follows Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters, and all of the chaos associated with a huge family. The show’s second season will continue to take inspiration from creator and executive producer Chris Savino’s life growing up in a family of 10 kids. The first season was based on the animated short of the same name submitted via Nickelodeon’s annual Animated Shorts Program, and it marked the first series to be greenlit from the global initiative.
Nick is also adding animated action-comedy Glitch Techs (working title) to its original content lineup.
The series, which follows two newly recruited kids as they battle video game monsters that come to life in the real world, has been picked-up for 20 episodes and will bow in 2018. Glitch Techs comes from Eric Robles (Fanboy & Chum Chum) and Dan Milano (Greg the Bunny, Warren the Ape), both of whom hail from Nickelodeon’s Artist Collective.
