After record attendance, Kidscreen Summit sets 2017 dates

With registration up 5% at last week's Kidscreen Summit in Miami - which drew close to 1,800 delegates - details have been firmed up for next year's event.

Close to 1,800 delegates across the kids entertainment industry were brought together at last week’s Kidscreen Summit in Miami, where registration saw a 5% increase over last year, thanks to significant growth among North America, UK and Australian attendees.

Taking part in intense business networking, professional learning (which encompassed such sessions as one conducted by actress Geena Davis, pictured), and the annual Kidscreen Awards event were 40% more attendees from Australia, 15% more registrants from the UK and 11% additional North American delegates.

The four-day event – which serves as a conference and a market – also saw a 32% rise in attendees working in the consumer products sector, as well as new delegations from countries such as South Africa and Colombia.

In looking ahead to 2017, Kidscreen Summit will take place from February 13 to 16, returning to the InterContinental Miami. Registration for the event is set to open in early July.
