On the heels of Atlantyca Entertainment establishing the Atlantyca Live! division headed up by Rachele Geraci, the Italian company has appointed Marco Piccinini as licensing manager.

Piccinini, the former senior category manager for Euro licensing agency CPLG, steps into his new role immediately. He will manage all licensing marketing activities, including special events, publicity, billboard and print campaigns, as well as website and social media initiatives, working with Atlantyca’s licensees to develop and coordinate exclusive multi-category merchandise and marketing programs. Additionally, he’s charged with securing new licensing partnerships and opportunities for Atlantyca’s roster of original and third-party properties.

Piccinini spent more than a decade at CPLG in Italy, where most recently, he was responsible for creating and securing new licensing partnerships and programs in all key categories (toys and games, publishing, food and beverage, health and beauty, stationery and paper goods and collectables) for many blue-chip franchises like Minions, Kung Fu Panda, The Simpsons, Skylanders, Spider-Man, Power Rangers, Rabbids, Hotel Transylvania and Pink Panther.
