Disney XD’s latest original movie, Mark & Russell’s Wild Ride, is set to premiere Stateside on the boy-skewing channel on November 23.

The movie stars Disney Channel’s Joey Bragg (Liv and Maddie, pictured) and ABC’s Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs), who together embark on an adventure through town after the most popular girl in school asks Mark for a ride to an exclusive pool party. Mark’s excitement comes to a halt when he remembers that he still hasn’t passed his driver’s test after numerous failed attempts. The duo tracks down DMV instructor Glenn, and a series of events involving getting a license and putting Glenn’s marriage back on track proceed to unfold.

Directed by Jon Rosenbaum (Mighty Med, Austin & Ally) and produced by Kimberly Arnott (Radio Rebel, The Haunting Hour), who also serves as an executive producer, Mark & Russell’s Wild Ride represents the second movie to be produced under the MarVista and Two 4 the Money Media co-venture as part of a multi-picture development deal with Disney XD. The first movie, Pants on Fire, bowed on Disney XD last November.

MarVista Entertainment CEO Fernando Szew (Perfect Match), EVP of production and development, Robyn Snyder (House of Versace), and production and development VP Larry Grimaldi (Next X) will also serve as executive producers for Mark & Russel’s Wild Ride.

In Disney fashion, the movie will first become available on November 16 for verified users on the WATCH Disney XD app and WATCHDisneyXD.com.
