Turner Broadcasting has bought nearly 450 half hours from Warner Bros. Animation for Boomerang, marking the newly rebranded 24-hour kidsnet’s first-ever exclusive original content deal.

Included in the buy are brand-new series Bunnicula (pictured), Be Cool Scooby-Doo! and Wabbit—A Looney Tunes Production, all of which will premiere this fall on Boomerang worldwide, and on select Cartoon Network channels around the globe. Turner’s Pogo, Boing, Toonami and Cartoon Network US channels could also potentially broadcast the new programming.

Based on the bestselling children’s book of the same name, Bunnicula is a comedy about the paranormal adventures of a vampire rabbit who prefers carrot juice over blood to strengthen his supernatural abilities.

Be Cool Scooby Doo! is a modernized version of the beloved classic that sees the gang looking to solve their own personal problems along with a string of new mysteries.

And WabbitA Looney Tunes Production features all-new shorts starring the one-and-only Bugs Bunny, along with classic characters such as Yosemite Sam and Wile E. Coyote, and a brand-new crop of villains.

The deal also extends Boomerang’s access to 3,500 classic animated titles from the Hanna-Barbera, MGM and Warner Bros. Animation collection.
