Toronto, Canada-based 9 Story Media Group has licensed TV toons Get Ace (Galaxy Pop) and Nerds and Monsters (Slap Happy Cartoons) to Globosat’s Gloob in Brazil.

Both animated comedies will air in Brazilian Portuguese on the three-year-old kidsnet, with premiere dates currently slated for January 2016.

Produced by Aussie prodco Galaxy Pop, Get Ace (52 x 11 minutes) kicked off in Australia on Network TEN’s ELEVEN channel. The comedic toon is now travelling the globe, following previous licensing deals with Boing (France), ABC Australia, TVNZ (New Zealand), TVE (Spain), E Junior (UAE) and Zoom (Israel).

Nerds and Monsters (40 x 11 minutes), meanwhile, is produced by Vancouver-based prodco Slap Happy Cartoons for Canada’s YTV.

Currently in production on season two, the show has previously been licensed to CiTV (the UK), ABC Australia, TVE (Spain), Canal+ Family (France and Africa), E-Junior (UAE), Noga (Israel) and MBC Kids (Middle East).
