FranceTV Distribution has signed new AVOD agreements with a number of kids content suppliers to boost its multi-channel network presence on ad-supported video streaming platforms such as YouTube and Dailymotion.
Advertising VOD rights deals between FranceTV MCN and The Jim Henson Company, Studio 100 Media, MondoTV, Cyber Group Studios and Samka Productions will see content spread across more than 20 new France TV YouTube and Dailymotion channels.
Set up to help producers increase their online audiences, protect their IP and boost monetization, FranceTV MCN currently manages content on more than 200 channels distributed via YouTube and Dailymotion.
It also produces its own original children’s content for YouTube channels such as Deconne Cheese and Little Brown Bear.
Two of FranceTV MCN’s newest YouTube channels, Zouzous and Ludo, launched earlier this year , offering more than 1,500 free videos featuring popular characters like T’choupi, Petit Ours Brun and the Raving Rabbids.
In the first quarter of 2015, FranceTV MCN generated more than 200 million views across all of its online channels.
