Masri is responsible for overseeing all promotions and publicity for the company’s broadcast and digital content, as well as trade announcements, events and community outreach, and staff and corporate news.

For the past 20+ years she worked for US public broadcaster WETA in Washington, DC, where she began as an officer of foundation and government development and worked her way up to senior director of station relations.

In other Fred Rogers news, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based company recently announced production had started on a second season of math-based preschool series Peg + Cat, with 25 new episodes and a one-hour musical special slated to launch on PBS KIDS in spring 2016.
