The Jim Henson Company’s third-party licensing and distribution label, HIP (Henson Independent Properties), has struck a number of broadcast and digital licensing deals for preschool series Lily’s Driftwood Bay.

On the digital side, Netflix has scooped up the show for the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland. International broadcasters KiKa (Germany), MTV Oy (Finland), TV New Zealand (New Zealand), TVB (Hong Kong) and Radio Television Brunei (Brunei) have also picked up the animated series.

The mixed-media series was commissioned for an additional 52 eps and has earned a Parents’ Choice Recommended Award, as well as being selected by Common Sense Media as one of the Best Kids’ TV Shows of 2014.

Created and directed by Colin Williams (Pajanimals, Big and Small), Lily’s Driftwood Bay features a multi-talented voice cast that includes Stephen Fry (QI, The Hobbit), Peter Mullan (Harry Potter) and Richard Dormer (Game of Thrones).
