Disney Junior US has scooped up preschool series Kate & Mim-Mim, which will bow on the channel on December 19.
Created by husband and wife Scott and Julie Stewart, with the help of their own children’s creative fantasies, Kate & Mim-Mim tells the story of a feisty five-year-old who, together with her toy rabbit Mim-Mim, travels to the fantasy world of Mimiloo where Mim-Mim comes alive as a larger-than-life playmate.
The series debuts with with a special holiday-themed episode, “A Christmas Wish,” airing at 8:30 PM ET/PT. Following its premiere, the series will be broadcast on Monday to Thursday at 8:00 PM ET/PT, as well as Saturday and Sunday at 4:30 PM ET/PT.
Kate & Mim-Mim is produced and developed by Canada’s Nerd Corps Entertainment. FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment holds the exclusive worldwide TV distribution and licensing rights to the property outside of Canada. The show has already been sold to international broadcasters in Asia and Germany.
