Playmobil’s Super 4 goes global

Kids programming distributor PGS Entertainment has signed a raft of broadcast deals for Super 4, the animated series that brings together Playmobil-inspired fairies, knights, pirates and robots in one universe.

Kids programing distributor PGS Entertainment has signed multiple broadcast deals to bring the Playmobil-inspired animated series Super 4 to regions across Europe, Asia and North America.

European sales include TV3 (Catalonia), Neox Kidz (Spain), Canal Panda (Portugal), RTBF (Belgium), RTS (Switzerland), RTL téléKids (Netherlands and Luxembourg), MTV3 (Finland) and Canal+(Poland). In Asia and the Middle East, Israel’s Noga and Thailand’s Workpoint have inked broadcast deals for the show. Meanwhile Radio-Canada picked up the series for French Canada.

Super 4 (52 x 11 minutes) is commissioned by France Télévisions and produced by Method Animation and morgen studios. PGS represents the series in all territories.

The comedy-adventure show targets kids ages five to nine and is mix of fairies, knights, pirates and robots, inspired by characters from the Playmobil toy brand. Super 4 marks the first time the 40-year-old brand has come to television. The series is set to debut early next year.

PGS also recently announced broadcast deals for Super 4 with CiTV in the UK and Cartoon Network in Italy and Latin America.
