In an effort to launch the preschool property Kate & Mim-Mim in one of Europe’s biggest markets, FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment has inked a distribution and licensing deal with the German television network Super RTL.
Following the deal, the broadcaster has acquired the distribution, licensing and home entertainment rights for the series.
The show (52 x 11 minutes) is set to air on the German channel later this year, in its Toggolino pre-school line-up.
First, the CG-animated series will air on CBeebies in the UK and on BBC Kids and the Knowledge Network in Canada this fall.
Aimed at kids ages two to five, Kate & Mim-Mim follows the adventures of feisty little girl Kate and her toy rabbit Mim-Mim.
Created by husband and wife team Scott and Julie Stewart, Kate & Mim-Mim is produced and developed by Nerd Corps Entertainment. FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment holds the exclusive worldwide TV distribution and licensing rights to the property outside of Canada.
