Mr. Snuffleupagus is the latest character to go where few have gone before: 3D printing powerhouse MakerBot has picked up Sesame Street as its first global licensed brand.

Snuffy is the first of the Sesame Street characters to join MakerBot’s growing collection of paintable digital 3D models that are available through its digital store. The character is currently being offered at US$1.29 and can be printed by at-home users of MakerBot’s 3D printer.

The plastic rendering of Snuffy is the first of upcoming Sesame character releases expected throughout the year.
