In step with its international growth, animated action series Digimon Fusion has premiered on Spain’s Clan TV following a deal secured by the IP’s exclusive international distributor MarVista Entertainment, in partnership with Saban Brands.

Since its US debut on Nicktoons in fall 2013, the new 30 x half-hour series has been snapped up by Vortexx on The CW in the US, CITV in the UK and YTV in Canada. Cartoon Network Latin America is also on board to premiere the series this summer.

Digimon Fusion marks the sixth installment in the long-running Japanese franchise which includes more than 250 eps that have aired globally since 1999.

Saban Brands acquired the Digimon franchise in 2012. The new TV series follows the adventures of a human boy, Mikey, who crosses into a digital world and must team up with digital monsters (Digimon) to conquer an evil force threatening the world’s existence.

Saban Brand’s new London office, which launched in October 2013, aims to grow the UK and European licensing programs for Saban Brands’ hit IP including Digimon Fusion, Power Rangers, Paul Frank and Julius Jr.
