Gaming developer BulkyPix and Belgium-based family entertainment company Studio 100 are growing the family of Maya the Bee-branded apps with The Ant‘s Quest, which is now available for iOS and Android devices.
The US$3.30 app targets fans of the new CGI series – as well as adults familiar with the classic brand – through puzzle-based games and parental safety features.
The app follows the December launch of Maya the Bee: Flower Party.
The 35-year-old Maya the Bee brand returned to the small screen in 2012 in a CGI 3D TV series, which has since sold to more than 160 countries. Maya is set to make her big screen debut later this year.
