Lesley Bailey joins Turner EMEA

Turner Broadcasting has appointed children's entertainment marketing expert Lesley Bailey to the newly created role of VP of channel marketing and brand management for EMEA.

Turner Broadcasting has appointed children’s entertainment marketing expert Lesley Bailey to the newly created role of VP of channel marketing and brand management for EMEA.

Effective immediately and reporting directly to Turner EMEA’s SVP of content and creative officer Patricia Hidalgo, Bailey will be tasked with leading channel marketing and brand management strategies for Turner’s kids portfolio to help support revenue growth from licensing and merchandising, ratings and ad sales.

Bailey was most recently a channel marketing and franchise consultant for Turner Broadcasting EMEA. Prior to this she held a number of consultant and executive roles in senior marketing and brand management for companies including HIT Entertainment and Walt Disney.

At HIT, Bailey worked on popular kids IP such as Thomas & Friends, Mike the Knight and Bob the Builder. For Disney, she held stints as launch marketing director for Disney Channels Scandinavia and Disney Channel Russia, as well as regional executive director for Disney Channels EMEA.

Bailey will be based in Turner Broadcasting EMEA’s London-based regional head office.
