When Canada-based toyco Spin Master launched its first construction toys last November under the Ionix brand, the line was based on animated series Tenkai Knights. Now, the construction lines are set to encompass characters from DreamWorks Animation and Pokemon.

The Ionix construction system, which features shape-shifting building bricks that are fully compatible with other construction sets, will include characters from DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon 2, as well as those from the world of Pokémon.

How to Train Your Dragon by Ionix will be available at major retailers this May, and Pokémon by Ionix will follow in October.
