Celebrity duo Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon is set to pen a holiday-themed picture book featuring their twins Moroccan and Monroe that will be released by Scholastic this fall.
Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas targets readers ages three and is illustrated by artist AG Ford. The book follows Roc and Roe as they put their own unique spin on the Christmas carol “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” The deal was forged by D. Christopher Jennings and Robert Caruso, founders of Impact Republic, Nick Cannon’s Ncredible Entertainment, and Ken Geist, VP and editorial director at Scholastic Press Picture Books.
Cannon, in particular, is no stranger to the world of children’s entertainment. The former Nickelodeon and MTV personality was named chairman of TeenNick in 2009, and he’s been a development and creative consultant for the net ever since. With more than 200 million records sold worldwide, Carey continues to be the bestselling female vocal artist of all time.
