Lego hit series Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, based on the company’s line of  toys, is making a return to Cartoon Network US in four one-hour specials, with the first one slated to air on January 29. The specials will be preceded by a new Ninjago game on January 20.

The first special will see the Ninjas called back into action as the spirit of the defeated Overlord has infected the electric grid of Ninjago. In the digital game, the Ninjas will fight their way through three levels, defeat loads of Ninjadroids and put a stop to the Overlord. At each level, players can switch between different ninjas in order to make use of their individual powers and weapons to get to the end.

The animated series premiered on Cartoon Network in January 2012. Its first season was rated the number-one program with kids ages two to 11 and six to 11 on Wednesday nights.
