Frederator’s Cartoon Hangover reaches YouTube milestone
On the heels of a major programming push this past fall, Frederator Studios’ Cartoon Hangover YouTube channel has surpassed one million subscribers, becoming the second-fastest original funded YouTube channel to do so in its first 12 months.
Since its launch in November 2012, the channel has generated more than 17 million unique viewers and more than 72 million programming views. Subscribers are tuning into original series and shorts such as Bravest Warriors (pictured), which is now in its second season, Bee & PuppyCat and Too Cool!
Frederator Studios and its CEO Fred Seibert, whose executive producing credits include Adventure Time and The Fairly OddParents, also recently secured roughly US$870,000 in funding from a Kickstarter campaign to create a series based on the Bee & PuppyCat short.
Frederator will look maintain its momentum with new programming that will be introduced throughout the first part of 2014.
