Nickelodeon gets water park deal in Australia

Nickelodeon has partnered with Village Roadshow Theme Parks to extend its footprint at the Wet’n’Wild park in Sydney, Australia.

The collaboration builds upon the partnership between Village Roadshow Theme Parks and Nickelodeon at Sea World on the Gold Coast.

Starting Thursday, December 12, Nickelodeon will offer families the opportunity to meet its characters, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Dora the Explorer and Diego. The group will be accompanied by a crew of guys and girls in a Nick Beach-Mobile, bopping beach balls and tossing Frisbees. Nickelodeon’s offering will continue to expand in 2014, with further development plans yet to be announced.

The Nickelodeon Experience will appear at Wet’n’Wild daily until the Decemeber 22 and then on weekends throughout January and February. Times and dates will be available on the website –www.wetnwildsydney.com.au

Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. are available in the region 24-hours a day, seven days a week in more than 2.3 million households via Foxtel.
