Entertainment One is partnering with UK retailer George at Asda once again to develop a Daddy Pig loungewear line, an extension of the Peppa Pig brand.
The new collection from George at Asda follows the success of their first Daddy Pig product line, which launched exclusively for Father’s Day in June 2013 and quickly sold out across several SKUs. Items in the new Christmas range include a T-shirt that goes on sale this week followed by the launch of pyjamas, lounge pants, boxer shorts and socks on December 1.
Daddy Pig has grown in popularity and has spawned an iOS app, Daddy Pig’s Puddle Jump, that’s available at the UK App Store. eOne is now developing a brand segmentation strategy for the character.
