Nickelodeon has ordered a second 26-episode season of Paw Patrol, which is currently ranked as the number-one preschool series on US TV.

The CG-animated series stars a pack of six heroic rescue pups – Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma and Skye – who are led by a boy named Ryder.

Produced in partnership with Toronto, Canada-based Spin Master Entertainment, the series features a curriculum that focuses on citizenship, social skills and problem-solving.  Season two of Paw Patrol will introduce new characters, locations and updated Paw Patrol vehicles with new tools and gadgets.

Paw Patrol airs every weekday, and the series will begin airing on Nickelodeon’s international channels this November. Nickelodeon has also partnered with the ASPA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) to help deliver the organization’s message promoting the humane treatment of animals.
