Disney lines up Frozen CP program

Disney Consumer Products has rolled out a wide range of toys and related products to US retailers to warm consumers up for the Thanksgiving launch of its newest animated feature Frozen.

Disney Consumer Products has rolled out a wide range of toys and related products to US retailers to warm consumers up for the Thanksgiving launch of its newest animated feature Frozen.

Based on classic tale The Snow Queen, the new film follows the quest of Anna as she teams up with mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.

A wide assortment of products is available now from licensees including Mattel, Just Play and more at mass retailers nationwide. Products are also available at Disney Store and DisneyStore.com.

Here is a quick look at some of the topline products:

In the toy category, there is Disney Frozen Musical Magic Elsa and Anna Dolls by Mattel (US$29.99 each) and Disney Frozen Pull Apart and Talkin’ Olaf by Just Play ( US$17.99).  As well, Disney Frozen Castle and Ice Palace Playset by Mattel (US$99.99) is an expandable set and the Frozen Plush Collection is available at Disney Store (US$14.95 to US$19.95).

In the fashion and accessories category, there is the Olaf Knit Hat by ABG (US$9.99) and Anna and Elsa rolling luggage by Disney Store (US$34.95) and Olaf tees for boys and girls by Disney Store (US$12.95 each).

The home décor category is led by  Sisterly Love Sheets Set by Franco (US$21.99 to US$32.99), Loving Sisters Throw by Northwest (US$17.99) and  Frozen Upholstered Chair by Delta Children (US$79.99).

There is also an extensive publishing program around the movie highlighted by the Frozen deluxe storybook by Disney Publishing (US$6.99) and Frozen read-along storybook and CD by Disney Publishing (US$6.99).

The movie opens wide across the US on November 27.
