Toronto, Canada’s Guru Studio has released its first in-house developed app, Justin’s Jig Jag Jog, a brand new iOS-supported app based on second season episodes of its acclaimed preschool series Justin Time.

Now available at the Apple App Store in English-speaking markets for kids ages three to six, the third Justin Time app features three game levels and locations (motor car race, coal mine and swamp) that follow the show’s themes of exploration and discovery and help strengthen kids’ hand-eye coordination and mental responses.

Kids can play as main character Justin and must maneuver their way through the game level’s obstacles with help from friends Olive and Squidgy.

Guru currently distributes the first two Justin Time apps, which are based on season one. The apps further expand the game dimensions of the IP which also include 10 online games available across platforms and mini-sites including PBS’ Sproutonline.com in the US, Disneyjunior.ca in Canada, Super RTL’s Toggolino.de in Germany, and Tiny Pop’s Tinypop.com in the UK.

The release falls in line with Guru’s plan to significantly increase its interactive content production┬áthis year, including original games (Stacks) and games based on its newest preschool IP, Port Little.
