The Muppets are headed for the BBC as Sesame Workshop and CBeebies are set to co-produce for the first time a new children’s show entitled The Furchester, which will debut next fall.
Starring Elmo and Cookie Monster and designed to hone creative problem solving skills, The Furchester is about a family of cheerfully incompetent monsters who own and operate an ‘almost’ world class hotel.
The 52 x 11-minute series will go into production early next year and will be filmed at CBeebies’ new home in MediaCityUK in Salford.
