Cartoon Network heads to Angola and Mozambique

Turner International has announced a deal with carrier MultiChoice that will bring Cartoon Network’s Portuguese channel to Angola and Mozambique.

The new channel, available on the pay TV platform DStv, starts broadcasting tomorrow and is part of Turner’s continuing strategy to adapt its content to the demands of local markets.

Award-winning global hits including The Amazing World of Gumball(pictured), Adventure Time and Regular Show, as well as evergreen action-adventure series Ben 10, are slated to air on the network.

MultiChoice Africa is the continent’s pioneer pay  TV provider, having launched the first digital satellite service there in the 1980s. The company provides multi-channel digital pay television services containing channels from Africa, America, China, India, Asia and Europe.
