Canada/UK company Entertainment One (eOne) has agreed to purchase US-based lifestyle-focused licensing agency Art Impressions, led by founder and owner Cindy Bailey.

Based in Calabasas, California, and launched in 1992, Art Impressions specializes in lifestyle brand creation across all key demographics. The company handles design-centric brands SO SO Happy and Skelanimals.

eOne Family and eOne Licensing have been active in the US market since launching Peppa Pig on NickJr. in 2010, and subsequently securing licensing and merchandising partnerships with Fisher Price and Scholastic among others. The new acquisition follows on the heels of eOne’s recentĀ purchase of YouTube hit Simon the Cat and the company’s growing interest in developing IP from non-traditional or non-linear origins.

The terms of the deal have not been made public.
