Guru Studio’s animated property Justin TimeĀ  is expanding into the merchandising world through newly appointed agencies Knockout Licensing and Super RTL Merchandising for North America and Germany, respectively.

Knockout Licensing, which represents a wide range of properties like Downton Abbey, Boo – The World’s Cutest Dog, and Lil’ Panda, has acquired the consumer product rights to the series for the US and Canada. The licensing program includes plans for toys, apparel, dress-up and adventure playsets and will debut at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas later this month.

In the US, the series airs on SPROUT and NBC Kids, Discovery Familia and Netflix. So far, two books (The Pancake Express and The Big Pet Story) have been released across North America by boutique publisher Immedium.

Guru has plans to select agents in further key markets where the show is popular. The animated series aimed at three-to six-year-olds follows the adventures of Justin and his imaginary pals Olive and Squidgy.
