3D app Subway Surfer adds three licensees

Ink, the global representative for Denmark-based Kiloo's property Subway Surfers, has signed licensing deals in the apparel, nightwear and arcade games categories for the app.

Ink, the global representative for Subway Surfers, has signed licensing deals in the apparel, nightwear and arcade games categories for the app.

Isaac Morris has picked up the license for junior apparel (US and Canada), AME will produce junior nightwear (US) and Coastal Amusements will design coin-operated arcade games (global).

Subway Surfers is a 3D game that puts the player in the role of young graffiti artists. Since launching in 2012, the game  has been downloaded 160 million times. During a one-day period in March the game was played 30 million times. Currently, Subway Surfers is the number two highest grossing arcade game in the US, Russia, France and Brazil.

The Subway Surfers licensing program is headed by a number of sub-agents, including Firefly Brand Management in the US, License Connection in Benelux, Segal Licensing in Canada and Active Merchandising in Germany. Ink represents the brand across Nordics, Eastern Europe and Russia.
