Publications Internationals is adding some Sesame Street-inspired flavor to its iCookbook 3.1 recipe platform. The publisher has teamed with Sesame Workshop to feature a new recipe collection for kids and parents called Sesame Street’s Silly Snacks.

The 20-recipe bundle, available exclusively for download as part of the iCookbook iOS app, offers recipes and ways to learn about healthy snacking through the help of Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster and other Sesame Street characters. Each snack – such as scar’s SCRAM-bled Egg & Zucchini Pie and Big Bird’s Little Nests – includes parent tips, facts and cooking steps designed just for kids.

The Sesame Street collection is part of iCookbook 3.1′s 2,100 recipe lineup. The app allows users to search recipes using theme, ingredient, cuisine, brand and voice-command technology.

While Publications International has worked with Sesame Workshop in the past on a number of print and digital books, sound books and storybooks, the iCookbook Silly Snacks collection is Sesame Workshop’s first app that’s designed to promote healthy cooking among parents and kids.
