Kabillion goes for more numbers on YouTube

On-demand kidnet Kabillion is heading further into YouTube territory courtesy of Maker Studios - an indie network on the video-sharing site that has accumulated more than 10,000 channels and 165 million content subscribers.

On-demand kids entertainment network Kabillion is heading further into YouTube territory courtesy of Maker Studios – an indie network on the video-sharing site that has accumulated more than 10,000 channels and 165 million content subscribers.

The partnership begins today with the launch of Kabillion programming on Maker’s US Cartoonium channel.

Kabillion shows Code LyokoBobby’s World and Mix Master will join original, kid-centric programming from YouTube star Shay Carl, along with additional original and existing content.

Alongside the Cartoonium launch, Kabillion will ramp up its YouTube presence at YouTube.com/Kabillion, which features content from Kabillion shows like Tara DuncanDaVinciblesBunny Maloney and Pet Alien. Both Cartoonium and Kabillion Channel will feature full episodes that will be updated regularly.

Kabillion currently draws roughly six million views on-demand each month, and the brand hosts content via its website. By pacting with Maker Studios, which offers its partners development, production, promotion, distribution, sales and marketing services, the brand’s content opens up to families that currently don’t have on-demand access. Kabillion and Kabillion Girls Rule!, a subsidiary of US-based Moonscoop, currently reaches 40 million US households on-demand via Comcast and Time Warner, among others.
