Cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar is taking a swing at children’s animation, starring in a new 3D CGI series called Master Blasters from Moonscoop and Shemaroo Entertainment.

The global rights to the show’s first 26 x 22-minute season are up for sale at MIPTV this week.

Tendulkar, the Indian player widely regarded as the greatest batsman in the cricketing world, will be animated as the head of a training camp for the next generation of cricket stars from around the world. While coaching and teaching these young hopefuls the finer points of the game, Sachin also mentors them to be grounded humanitarians.
