The CBeebies preschool series Mister Maker, produced by Zodiak Kids production company The Foundation, has scored new UK licensing partners in the areas of traditional and digital publishing, as well as an arts and craft partner renewal.

P2 Entertainment has acquired the license to produce the first Mister Maker mobile and tablet app in the UK and worldwide.  The paid-for app will initially be available through Apple’s iTunes platform and is planned to roll out to other mobile platforms when it launches this summer. The app will feature a series of themed games and will allows kids to use hundreds of materials from the Doodle Drawers.

Also launching this summer is a range from children’s publisher Igloo Books. Heading to mass market retailers across the UK and Eire are sticker, activity and coloring books aimed kids ages three to six.

Meanwhile, Zodiak Kids has signed a renewal agreement with Creativity International to continue creating the Mister Maker arts and craft packs.  The range, which will include stationery, core art materials, craft packs and activity sets,  is available through high street, grocers, independent and specialty retailers in UK & Eire.

These new deals follow the recent announcements of a brand-new spinoff for CBeebies, entitled Mister Maker Around The World.
