Publishing exec Craig Herman to head Peanuts program

Craig Herman has been named executive director of publishing for Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment at New York-based Iconix Brand Group, where among is duties will be balancing the business between physical books, eBooks and hybrid digibooks and apps.

Craig Herman has been named executive director of publishing for Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment at New York-based Iconix Brand Group.

Herman will drive the editorial content of the global publishing program for the Peanuts brand as well as balance the business between physical books, eBooks and hybrid digibooks and apps.

Herman is no stranger to the Peanuts brand. He previously worked at Philadelphia-based Running Press, where his team acquired properties including Peanuts and Comedy Central books.  He has also held positions at HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster.
