Latin American market to get piece of Fruit Ninja franchise

Licensed goods based on the popular Fruit Ninja app, which has been downloaded more than 400 million times since launching in 2010, are headed for Latin America as Exim Licensing Group has been appointed the brand's sub-agent for the region.

Licensed goods based on the popular Fruit Ninja app, which has been downloaded more than 400 million times since launching in 2010, are headed for Latin America as Exim Licensing Group has been appointed the brand’s sub-agent for the region.

The app, developed by Australia’s Halfbrick Studios, is in the midst of growing its multimedia content and licensing initiatives throughout 2013 within categories like TV, toys, games, publishing, home video and traditional products. The brand currently holds an extensive merch program and just recently became the focus a new electronics range from Impecca.

Exim will be responsible for implementing a roll strategy with Halfbrick Studios, distributors and key partners. Exim’s plan is to bring aboard clients and retailers in all of the main categories.
