Spin Master re-teams with DreamWorks for Dragons toys

Toy manufacturer Spin Master will serve as the global master toy licensee for DreamWorks' Dragons franchise, which includes the newly launched television series as well as the sequel to the original How to Train Your Dragon film.

Toy manufacturer Spin Master will serve as the global master toy licensee for DreamWorks’ Dragons franchise, which includes the newly launched television series as well as the sequel to the original How to Train Your Dragon film.

Spin Master, which previously served as the master toy partner for 2009′s How to Train Your Dragon, will launch a toy line this Fall inspired by the September 2012 debut of Cartoon Network’s DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk.

DreamWorks’ consumer products program for the original How to Train Your Dragon film – which grossed more than US$500 million at the global box office – was one of the company’s biggest to date.  How to Train Your Dragon 2 is set for release in July 2014.
