Van Nuys, California-based toymaker MGA Entertainment has appointed Toronto-based licensing agency Studio Licensing to represent its kids brands for licensing and merchandising opportunities in Canada.

Product growth plans are in the works for brands including bestselling collectible doll IP Lalaloopsy, girls fashion toy line Movie Girlz, hit fashion doll property Bratz, the Bratz interactive doll spinoff Bratzillaz, brand new cosmic-themed tween girls doll property Novi Stars, and the Little Tikes brand of indoor and outdoor play products for infants and toddlers.

The new deal will see Studio Licensing work with MGA’s Canadian team to explore new licensing categories and retail and marketing programs.
