Canada’s DHX Media has signed a bunch of new TV deals and renewals across Asia for its children’s library including new preschool series Monster Math Squad (pictured).
Both seasons of that series have been snapped up by PCCW’s now TV channel in Hong Kong while Discovery Networks Asia Pacific has acquired Inspector Gadget’s Last Case, Inspector Gadget’s Biggest Caper Ever and the series Gadget Boy. Meanwhile, SkyAsia Media Indonesia has nabbed both seasons of Pirates, Adventures in Art and the first season of Urban Vermin.
Additional deals include: NTV (Super Duper Sumos and Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century for Japan), Cartoon Network (several titles of Madeline for Japan), True Visions (Super WHY! season four for Thailand), Quickflix (SVOD rights to a number of DHX Media titles for Australia and New Zealand), and TV New Zealand for feature Bonjour Timothy.
Rounding out the deals are renewals by Mediacorp Singapore for Johnny Test seasons four and five, Disney Channel Asia for Animal Mechanicals seasons one and two and Disney Channel India for Kid vs. Kat.
