Sony Pictures Consumer Products has announced new international agents have come on board to rep licensing and theatrical promotion rights for the upcoming YA fantasy movie The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.

All three agents, as well as Megalicense (Russian Federation) headed by Anton Grishin and Zahkar Nazarenko, have been awarded licensing rights to The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. London-based Gustavo Antonioni will also handle direct licensing deals for EMEA and the UK for the film.

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones., based on Cassandra Clare’s bestselling book series, stars Lily Collins (Mirror Mirror) as an ordinary 19-year-old girl who discovers she is a descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, young half-angel warriors who are locked in a battle to protect the present world from demons including warlocks, vampires, and werewolves.

The movie is set to premiere in North America through Sony Pictures’ Screen Gems division on August 23, 2013, while Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is set for a 3D release on February 7, 2014.
