Global toyco Bandai has unveiled the first website for its new Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. (Love is Fun Everywhere) brand of lifestyle products.
The new brand, which launched in June under exclusive US licensing agent and brand manager Sync Beatz Entertainment, encompasses apparel, domestics, furnishings, gifts & novelties, health & beauty, app, webisode and publishing products based on the hit virtual pet-themed IP.
The new website, tamagotchilife.com, features a “stories” section for fans to upload images of their original Tamagotchis, a “trends” area for the latest styles, food, and pop culture, and a T-L.i.f.e. blog highlighting the new line of lifestyle products.
Regularly updated, original Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. webisodes are also featured, as well as a Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. Hometown Heroes charity program honoring people in communities who have helped improve the lives of those in need.
Furthering its digital reach, Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. apps are currently in development with the first app expected to debut in spring 2013.
In addition, the website will link to social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube providing quizzes, sweepstakes and chats.
