Gormiti

Turner CN Enterprises (TCNE) has signed a multi-territory licensing and merchandising deal for its boys action and adventure series, Gormiti, a co-production between Mondo TV and Giochi Preziosi.

Under the terms of the four-year deal, TCNE will act as the master licensing agent for EMEA (excluding Italy, San Marino, Vatican City and France), while Mondo TV Consumer Products will act as sub agent for Russia, Eastern Europe (excluding Yugoslavia) Greece, Spain and Portugal.

Based on the pocket-size, collectible toy property from Giochi Preziosi, the new 52 x 22-minute CGI series is aimed at boys aged six to 11. Currently airing on Boing in Spain and Italy, Gormiti will have a full EMEA roll-out on Cartoon Network in 2013.

Gormiti follows the selfless combat and incredible power of the invincible Lords of Nature–Earth, Air, Sea and Forest–who are on a mission to protect the Island of Gorm against the evil Volcano kingdom that threatens to destroy everything in its wake. They must guard The Heart of Gorm, five Gorm stones that are protected and hidden in each kingdom, or else the peaceful Gormiti will be under threat and evil will rule the land.
