Italian distributor and licensor Rainbow has signed a licensing deal with JAKKS Pacific for toy rights to PopPixie to manufacture, distribute and market a line of toys based on the girl targeted animated TV series.

The deal covers all English-speaking territories with a planned launch of PopPixie consumer products including dolls, figurines, dress sets and plush at retail in Spring 2014. Targeted at kids five to nine, the comedy series airs in more than 25 countries in Europe. PopPixie has more than 115 licensees already on board across all key licensing categories including toys, publishing, back-to-school, home entertainment, apparel and FMCG.

PopPixie is set in a fantastic dimension called Pixieville, inhabited by agroup of inseparable friends who are always ready to help each other; Pixies are well-mannered and caring, cheerful, courageous and spunky, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. They are full of energy and always ready to lend a hand.
