New York-based 4K Media, the newly formed wholly owned subsidiary of Konami Digital Entertainment that’s been set up to manage the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise outside of Asia, has sewn up broadcast agreements with two European networks to air the initial season of the 49 x half-hour animated fantasy adventure Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL.
K2 in Italy launched the series in June and the series will launch on Lagardere TV France later this month.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! animated franchise has been translated and broadcast in more than 90 countries around the globe.
The new series features the aspiring Duelist Yuma who meets Astral, a mysterious visitor from beyond.
