Annoying Orange rides Rocket Licensing to new deals

UK-based Rocket Licensing has signed six new licensess for UK and Ireland on behalf of The Collective’s viral property Annoying Orange.

Underground Toys has signed on to debut a product range from US-based The Bridge at retail this month, while TV Mania UK, has taken on the boys apparel, nightwear and underwear license. UK publisher Egmont has snatched up book rights in the territories and Pedigree Books are readying annuals for retail. PMS International will focus on leisure goods.

Annoying Orange debuted on YouTube in 2009 and has since racked up more than one billion total views and 2.4 million YouTube channel subscribers. The IP has also spawned a highly rated series on Cartoon Network in the US.
