Radical Sheep gets greenlight from Disney Junior Canada

Toronto, Canada-based kids TV producer Radical Sheep Productions has begun production on CG-animated preschool series Yub Yubs for Disney Junior Canada, slated to air in 2013.

The company is also producing two Stella and Sam holiday specials for the channel for 2013.

Yub Yubs, featuring three characters whose feelings are expressed by changing into other physical forms, is created by Matt Fernandes of Toronto- and Melbourne-based interactive studio Industrial Brothers.

The series will also have an interactive mobile component.

The Stella and Sam Christmas and Halloween-themed specials will each include an original music video. The preschool animated series is based on the books by Marie-Louise Gay.
