BBC Worldwide has secured new sales to international broadcasters for a number of its children’s series including live-action/animation hybrid Baby Jake.

The preschool series from UK indie Darrall Macqueen has been snapped up by Norway’s NRK while Australia’s ABC4Kids has taken new Ragdoll animated preschool series The Adventures of Abney & Teal and Starz Kids and Family has nabbed Canadian production Wingin’ It (Temple Street Productions) and BBC original Sadie J for the US.

BBC Worldwide is also launching new CBeebies-commissioned, 2D-animated series Sarah & Duck at MIPJunior. The Karrot Entertainment-produced series, which follows a seven-year-old girl and her quacky best friend, Duck, is set to premiere in 2013.
