Paris-based prodco Millimages has inked new broadcast deals across Scandinavia for its hit 2D-animated preschool series Mouk.

Signing on for the 62 x 11-minute series are TV2 Denmark, TV2 Norway, MTV3 Finland and a DVD home entertainment agreement with Svensk.

Mouk currently airs on ABC Australia, France 5, and Disney Channels in the UK, Scandinavia, Spain, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The series will also make upcoming debuts on KiKA Germany, Disney Italy and Benelux, Disney Asia, ERT Estonia, RTV Slovenia and LTV Latvia.

Based on the work of artist Marc Boutavant, Mouk is directed by François Narboux and commissioned by France Télévisions and Disney Channel UK.

The series follows the adventures of Mouk and his friend Chavapa as they explore the world on their bicycles and send travel updates to their home-loving friend Popo and his sister Mita.

The latest deals come on the heels of Millimages naming Italy-based Atlantyca Entertainment as the exclusive licensing agent in Italy for the series.

Millimages holds all international TV and licensing and merchandising rights to the property.
