Entertainment One (eOne) has secured the UK licensing rights to the new 3D-animated feature film Justin and the Knights of Valour from Spanish production company Kandor Graphics.

eOne’s theatrical division is set to distribute the US$30 million movie in UK theaters from August 2013.

Justin and the Knights of Valour, which stars the voice talents of Freddie Highmore, Antonio Banderas and Saoirse Ronan, is set in a magical world and tells the coming-of-age story of a young boy who sets off on a quest to become a knight.

International pre-sales for the feature have already been secured in more than 120 countries worldwide, including Spain, Russia, China, Latin America, Middle East, Israel and South Korea.

To support the UK launch, eOne will launch a robust, cross-platform marketing campaign and is looking to partner with licensees in product categories including toys, publishing, apparel and promotions. Merchandise will be aimed at boys and girls ages five to 11.
